I’m also a father of 2 young children. Most important I also have a wife that I must keep happy.
Cos happy wife is happy life. LOL.
So in between managing sales, meeting prospects, handling viewings and marketing – how can I find time to do coaching for agents who make the decision to join me?
The answer is simple.
I do both at the same time.
The Best Way To Learn: “On-The-Job” Training
I am grateful that my decision back in 2015 to focus on value creation and value-adding for my prospects and clients.
I think this was the main crucial turning point that has resulted in regular appointments with new leads and prospects in 2020.
There is a time and season for everything.
A time to plant, a time to grow, a time to harvest.
And right now – those agents who are in my team are welcome to tag along to almost all of my appointments (subject to my clients’ or prospects’ approval).
Whether it is a:
- a cold lead or warm referral
- a viewing appointment
- a Zoom presentation
- briefing the seller on how to pack up their home
- a showflat visit with a client
- and many other possible interactions with REAL CLIENTS….
I can guarantee that you will learn something during these real-life “practical sessions”.
In this new normal of the pandemic – there are 2 things that you can allow to happen to you:
- Retreat and wait for things to return to normal
- Accept the new normal and learn how to adapt
Those who are willing to accept the second option will discover a world filled with opportunities…
While those who don’t – will only see scarcity and feeling lost…
Right now – to thrive in 2020 and beyond – we have to not just adapt but welcome all these new practices
Some of the activities we should have been used to by now:
- Training classes are now conducted virtually through Zoom.
- Viewings can be done virtually through 360 videos.
- Paperwork can be signed through the use of couriers.
All the above happened during the circuit breaker.
Something we considered unthinkable and difficult to accept back in 2019 – is now commonly practised in 2020.
Theory in Class, Practical Sessions With Me
We all know that theory lessons in class can provide only some confidence in a limited way.
The key to success?
Seeing those theories in action as I apply it to my real-life leads or clients.
